Two monsters from the 2nd story of this ish showed up in Marvel Universe #1: The Monster Hunters, but the liner notes in the back say they “appeared (sort of)”…as I've not seen this ish, can someone explain the “sort of” comment?

Compare that Robot X page to the page from Fantastic Four # 2 where the three Skrulls are captured and tied up; it looks like a re-drawn version of the Robot X Martians!
