Dragoom
History: An escaped prisoner, Dragoom came to Earth as a blazing fireball and landed in Mexico. Assuming a gigantic, humanoid shape, Dragoom had a desire to rule the world and demonstrated his power by destroying attacking aircraft. He then surrounded the Earth with a ring of fire, causing unbearable heat on the surface of the planet. When humanity surrendered, Dragoom declared himself king of the world. Dragoom was later tricked into leaving by movie producer Victor Cartwright who had five movie-prop dummies constructed to look like Dragoom's people; thinking the dummies were a police force from his home planet, Dragoom fled Earth.
Height: Variable
Demonstrated Powers: Dragoom was a sentient being composed entirely of firey, plasma-like energy.
Dragoom could fly, hurl fireballs, and change his size and shape. He could release tremendous amounts of heat capable of melting metal. Dragoom could spread his form out enough to blanket the earth.
Dragoom was able to stay ignited even when flying through the vacuum of space.
Comment: This “Victor Cartwright” should not be confused with the “Victor Cartwright” who fought The Lizard Men.
Comment: Dragoom's home planet, Vulcan, is not to be confused with the planet Vulcan of the “Star Trek” universe

Dragoom either has an Atmo-Web Suit[Fantastic Four vol.1#13(4/63)Human Torch used one—it surrounds him with an artificial atmosphere that allows his flame to ignite in the otherwise airless environment of space;Avengers West Coast#57(4/90)the original Human Torch also wore one] or he projects Cosmic Flame like Firelord or Nova(Frankie Raye) does.In Fantastic Four:The End#1(1/07) the Human Torch uses a PEG to survive in space.
