Kurrgo
History: When a runaway asteroid threatened to collide with Planet X, Kurrgo dispatched a flying saucer with his robot servant to Earth to get the help of The Fantastic Four. The robot used a “hostility ray” to turn humanity against the team, and the Fantastic Four accompanied the robot back to Planet X. Kurrgo explained how the planet was in upheaval from the destructive effects of the runaway asteroid. He further explained that his people, although scientifically advanced, never cared to visit other worlds, so they only had two large spaceships. Creating a reducing gas similar to Henry Pym's (see The Man In The Ant Hill), Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic shrank Planet X's entire population of five billion to miniature size so that they could all fit into one spaceship. The despotic Kurrgo never exposed himself to the reducing gas, intending to remain his normal size while ruling over the miniature population. Lagging behind the others, Kurrgo was apparently killed as Planet X crumbled around him and the spaceship of five billion inhabitants took off.
It was later revealed that Kurrgo was saved by his robot servant and fled in another ship as Planet X was destroyed. After years of searching, Kurrgo found his people, who had created a great miniature civilization. The tiny people repelled Kurrgo's attack, forcing him to flee once more. Kurrgo wanted to recruit The Thing of the Fantastic Four to use in his cause of conquering his people, but learned that the Thing was no longer the strongest creature on Earth; that title of honor now belonged to The Incredible Hulk. Kurrgo teamed with the Hulk's enemy, The Leader, and the two staged a battle between the Thing and the Hulk. In the end, the Leader teleported to safety, and Kurrgo was apparently killed in an explosion. Kurrgo has not been seen since.
Height: 4 ft.
Demonstrated Powers: Kurrgo had no special powers, and was dependent on his superior technology.
Equipment:
* Robot Servant - made of “the strongest substance in the universe” (possibly Adamantium?)
* Flying saucer
* “Hostility ray” - subsonic vibrations caused aggressive behavior in humans
Comment: Speculation - The Handbook to the Marvel Universe gave the name “Xanth” to the Planet X introduced in Fantastic Four # 7. Xanth was possibly inhabited by other alien races, as Goom, his son, Googam, Groot, and The Creature From Planet X all claimed to come from “Planet X”.
Comment: Stepping out of the flying saucer, Kurrgo's robot looks similar to the robot “Gort” from the 1951 movie The Day the Earth Stood Still.

I always wondered what happened to this charactor. I was glad when they did the sequel.
Kurrgo was another dictator. I wonder if there was a Napoleon complex involved ?
He wanted to keep his people tiny while he towered over them at four feet tall.
