Dear Editor,
I think Grogg and Fin Fang Foom should either 1) Have it out, 2) Team up, or 3) Be involved with a common foe or friend i.e. Dragon Man or 4) Deal with a guy like Puppet Master or the Mad Thinker.

How about tag team Grogg and Fin Fang Foom vs. Krang and Grottu ?

Take Care,
Bob T.

To Bob T.
Sure, and while we're at it, have a three-way grudge match between Taboo, Glob and It (the mud-monster not the “Living Colossus”) vs. Gomdulla, Mummex, and that other giant mummy from “When the Mummy Walks” .

A few years back, Iron Man battled Fin Fang Foom and some other dragon aliens. I wonder if one of these aliens was Grogg?

…and of all the Marvel Monsters, Fin Fang Foom is the only one who appeared on a tv cartoon (The Marvel Action Hour: Iron Man) and was also an action figure (also as an Iron Man cartoon tie-in).

He somehow managed to turn orange between the cover and the first page. Still one of the best, but I wish more of these monsters had shown up in 'continuity'… wait then they'd be way more expensive. Nevermind. I think an all-star team would be collosus (TOS #14, #20), fin fang foom (ST #89, duh), and Goliath (JIM #63). Oh and did you know there is an indie/ math-rock band named FIN FANG FOOM!

nifty.

fin fang foom is an amazing charecter… especially to me a nine year old kid who only likes silver and golden age things. kirby's art makes it a truly fantastic issue. i would like to see some kirby imatators draw this great monster

STRANGE TALES #89 is a pre-hero classic! FIN FANG FOOM has to be one of the best monsters in any comic book. I was lucky enough to own a copy of this book when I was a kid. Since then, I have bought a couple more copies of this great mag, and I still own a copy! I just love the cover artwork. It's pure genius! I had more than a few nightmares about FIN FANG FOOM when I was a kid. Now, he's like an old friend!

............. Tom L. Becker :: 14 March 2006

I think that the name, Fin Fang Foom, is what set this monster apart for me. I mean, how do you come up with something like that!?
